WHAT WE DO

We are Authorised Distributors of high quality electronic and RF Microwave
Components and Test Equipment from Mini-Circuits, Harwin, ODU, Omnetics,
Switchcraft/Conxall for the military/defence, security, space, medical and scientific
equipment, communication systems, robotics and environmental monitoring
markets.

From our In-House Cable and Product Assembly facility we offer RF Coaxial Cables,
Cable Splitters, Weatherproof Cables, Wire Harnesses, RF Filters, Product Assembly,
3D Printing and low pressure overmolding for cables, pcbs and small electronic
circuits.

OUR HISTORY

Mile-Stones

1978 J.A Severn Pty Ltd was founded by Mr John Severn with the objective of
importing and distributing high quality components and products for the electronics
industry throughout Australia and New Zealand.

1986 The company was purchased by Gordon & Glenn Clarke and following some
restructuring, the trading name changed to Clarke and Severn Electronics to
improve industry identification with the company’s activities

2005 Retirement of Company family members saw Glenn Clarke acquire the
majority shareholding.

2012 The Company expanded into Cable & Product Assembly – acquiring Summit
Data Cables, which had a strong reputation in the industry for over 25 years.

2013 The Company added Overmolding to it’s capabilities

2015 The Company acquired a second overmolding machine

2016 Our Cable & Product Assembly team became Certified IPC Specialists completing the Application Specialist Course IP-WHMA-A-620

2017 The Company added 3D Printing to it’s capabilities and acquired a third
Overmolding machine

2018 The Company gained ISO 9001:2015 Quality Assurance Accreditation and
acquired a fourth overmolding machine.

2019 The Company moved the Warehouse to another Unit within our building
complex and expanded the Production area into, what had been the Warehouse
space.

2020 The Company expanded production and storage into unit P4 within it’s
complex.

2022 The Company continues to expand in new directions to take advantage of emerging markets,
utilizing its knowledge and quality systems to provide Solutions That Fit – All from One Source

2023 The Trading Name Clarke and Severn Electronic Solutions
was registered to fully reflect the products and services we provide.

CAREERS

PRODUCTION TEAM MEMBERS - Casual or Full Time Positions Available

The successful candidate will be required to prepare, solder, crimp and assemble a variety of cable
looms & mechanical assembly work in accordance with customer drawings & instructions. You will be
expected to have a minimum of 5 years of experience with training to IPC620 or equivalent certificates. You
will need to have the ability to read and write English and understand basic cable drawings with an eye
for detail, able to work fast and accurately within a team and follow instructions.
