Project: Highly versatile, completely passive and non-emitting wearable drone detection device.
Solution: The key design elements were that the product needed to be wearable, durable and be adaptable, especially when in changing environments such as in hot or cold weather. Therefore size, weight, robust connectivity and maximum pin count were important considerations.
CSE Solutions worked closely with DroneShield to identify ODU’s AMC/AMC HD series as being the optimum solution, in terms of the identified requirements. Then CSE Solutions cable assembly team produced cables for testing and proof of concept to keep the R&D process moving for DroneShield.

Project: Operating and control unit for communication systems
Solution: Complex mission situations require innovative and flexible communication systems. The CT-MultiPTT 3C by CeoTronics is a central operation and control unit, which can simultaneously coordinate three independent communication circuits. Full duplex, simultaneous “radio traffic” is possible on all channels. Alternatively, a connection via Bluetooth® is possible, e.g. to a cell phone.
The combination of the extremely robust ODU AMC® with break-away function and CT-ComLink® technology allows connected headsets or radios to be detected and the optimal audio configuration to be set for perfect voice transmission.
Project: Field communication and power supply units
Solution: To control and distribute power and data in military applications, a secure power supply and reliable field communication must be guaranteed. Factors such as reliability, real-time communication and robustness must be ensured. Project: Robust Connectors in Military Robots
Solution: Miniaturised cable and connectors that can function in all environmental conditions are essential to the design of robotic tools that support the military. However, finding a reliable connector that is the correct size or has electrical capability to meet every circuit and module needed can be challenging. Instead, many new connector designs are evolving into “fit-for-application” formats that have the versatility and configurability needed to support new robotic devices in military ground-based activities.
Industry standard specifications like MIL-DTL-83513 for Micro-D connectors or MIL-Spec 32139 for Nano-D connectors are the starting blocks connector suppliers use to design connectors for robotics and other equipment used by the military. If changes in the shape or mounting style are needed to make a connector fit a specific application, existing military-quality connectors can be modified to meet the unique needs of the new application and still provide rugged, reliable performance
